SARPV with the support of CARE-Bangladesh has used around 99 volunteer, 20 supervisors to deliver this food item in 17 unions of Chakaria and Ramu Upazila from 25th June to 5st July for preparation and from 6ht July to 11th July to distribute this 115 Metric ton food item 5481 households with close relation of local administration and local government.
We have provided 103.9421 Metric ton wheat; 2.9745 Metric ton yellow pea, 10.04902 metric ton Vegetable oil and 82080 packets water purification powder to 5481 households of chakaria and Ramu Upazila. Full report in PDF [ Download ]

in the south-eastern part of Bangladesh last year, CARE
Bangladesh along with its partner SARPV has successfully
disbursed unconditional cash grants among the most vulnerable
groups of people in Koiarbil and Kakara union in Chakaria Upazila
in Cox’sBazar district yesterday on 31 March 2013. The UCG

At 23 January 2013,
the honorable UNO of Chakaria visited Koiarbil & Kakara to
monitor the progress of cash for work project supported by
CARE-Bangladesh, funded by ECO along with the Project
Implementation Officer (PIO) of Chakaria. The Regional Coordinator
of SARPV Mr. Maksodul Alam Muhit guided them during this visit.
The UNO observed the selection criteria & implementing
procedure of this project. He was pleased after observing these. He
found that SARPV went through community consultancy to select
Assistance and Rehabilitation for the Physically Vulnerable (SARPV)
and the Daily Star jointly organized a roundtable meeting at 29
November, 2012, in The Daily Star Bhavan to ensure education for
all and to create an enabling environment in the educational
institute. & the topic of this meeting was “Barriers of
Mainstreaming of Children with disability in Education”. Meeting
